1. PRODUCT APPEARANCE:
Our sandals are proudly and entirely hand made in Australia using 100% Australian leather sourced locally and sustainably. Thus, as a handmade product, our sandals will vary and have small imperfections that adds character and shows you that a human being has lovingly made these sandals expressly for you. Furthermore, as a socially and environmentally friendly brand, we use premium leathers that are tanned with no chemical products and thus, have naturally occurring marks, slight scratches or other “imperfections” that treatment or tanning will not cover. Additionally, this chemical free leather may darken with age (particularly evident with lighter colours). Again, this adds character to a product that has integrity and has a story.
Kangaroo leather is one of the strongest yet lightweight leathers in the world. As it does stretch, the sandals may feel tight on initial wear. However, they will stretch to accomodate your size within a few wears.
We have chosen to use our leather because it is the most environmentally friendly and sustainable leather available. As one of the strongest leathers for its weight, it is supple and has some stretch. When your receive your sandals they may feel tight. Don’t panic! as once the leather softens with wear or via heat it will slightly stretch. We recommend you wear them around the house until this happens or apply heat directly and try them on again. 1.2 LEATHER SOLES
We have chosen to make our leather sandals as eco friendly as possible. This means that the soles are 100% leather as well. They may be slippery at first and we suggest scoring them or taking them to your local shoe repairer to put rubber stops on the sole. We are currently sourcing natural latex to do this so stay tuned!
2. SHIPPING/ DELIVERY
Each sandal is handmade to order and will be available to ship from Queensland, Australia within 7 working days once we receive order confirmation. If the item you have selected is in stock, please allow 2 working days for the order to be processed and shipped. We choose to ship with Australia Post, which may take 3-5 working days within Australia and up to 10 working days for the rest of world.
3. DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery within Australia is a flat rate of AUD$15
International is AUD$30
Each additional item in your order will cost AUD$10
Any delay in delivery time following shipment may be due to customs clearance.
For International Orders (outside Australia) any custom fees incurred are not the responsibility of D’Arçé Sandals and will need to be paid for by the purchaser.
All orders are tracked and all information will be provided once the package is shipped.
4. RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY
We hope you enjoy your sandals that have been crafted for you by our artisans.
If the sandals are not a suitable fit or are defective you have up to 7 days to return them to us. However, they must be unworn with no damage to the sole. We are unable to provide refunds for change of mind but will gladly repair or replace any product that has been received that is faulty. Requests for an exchange must be made within 7 days of receiving an item via email to email@example.com
Please note, shipping fees are not refundable and return postage will need to be covered by the customer.
5. TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you accept the general terms and conditions. D’Arçé Sandals reserves the right to change the terms and conditions and update the online retail items at any time. As a user you are responsible for keeping yourself up to date with such changes.
6. PAYMENT TERMS
Your card will be charged as soon as your order is confirmed and all details are submitted for delivery purposes. We accept payment via Stripe and Apple Pay.
7. DELIVERY TERMS
The Online Shop operates from Monday to Saturday.
Once your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. D’Arçé strives to produce your order in the shortest amount of time possible. When your order leaves our studio you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number so that you can follow your order. All orders are subject to payment clearance and stock availability.
8. PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SHIPMENT
If your order has not arrived within the delivery time frame or been damaged during shipment, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If we cannot deliver the goods because of wrong or faulty information, we will deduct the shipping and any other fees such as import tax and duty that have been added, from your refund.

Collection & Use of Personal Information
To deliver the best browsing experience and highest standard of customer service, we receive and store personal and non-personal information about you and your use of our Site, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, cookies, web sites referring you to the Site and how you interact with the Site.
