In this digital age, we understand that buying online can be a bit scary so we want to make sure that you are happy with your sandals. Below please find information on shipment and our returns policy.

SHIPPING/ DELIVERY

We hold a small amount of inventory in our studio which is available to ship from Queensland, Australia within 1-2 working days of receiving your order. If the item you have selected is not in stock, please allow 5 - 7 working days for the order to be produced and shipped but we will keep you up to date.

We choose to ship with Australia Post or DHL. Items within Australia will be dispatched to Metropolitan areas via Australia Post Express and, DHL International for the Rest of World. Delivery time may range from 5 -7 days depending on DHL and customs.

1. DELIVERY COSTS

Delivery within Australia via Express Shipping is complimentary.

International Shipping is with DHL Express and is a flat rate of AUD$40 (~US$25/24€/20£) For orders over AUD$300, shipping is complimentary. Delivery time ranges from between 5 - 7 days but this is dependent on the courier.

International customers, please be aware that any delay in delivery once shipped may be due to customs issues. Unfortunately, this is out of our control and we are unable to contact International Customs Offices on your behalf. We provide tracking information so you can see where your item is located.

All orders are tracked and all information will be provided once the package is shipped.

1.1 CUSTOMS POLICY

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS 
Please note, in some countries, parcels may be subject to customs duties, which are determined by the customs of the country of destination. The amount of customs payments can be approximately 10-30% of the purchase price. Any import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and can be collected at time of delivery.

If you are to pay customs fees, once the parcel arrives in the country of destination, you can pay the duties by following the link that you will receive via SMS or email from DHL along with your invoice number. You do not have to communicate with representatives of the customs service, as the tax amount is calculated automatically.

**If the recipient refuses delivery of their order due to a customs charge your package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the shipping carrier and therefore, your order is not eligible for a refund**

**Once order ships and is in transit it is not possible to cancel the order**

**Free shipping & returns is only available once per order. If you are unsure about sizes, please contact us before purchase**

 

2. RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

We hope you enjoy your shoes that have been crafted for you by us. If you have any questions, on size, fit, material or what style we would suggest, please do not hesitate to contact us hello@darcesandals.com before you place your order!

We offer full refund or exchanges for change of mind for our shoes.

Requests for an exchange or refund must be made within 5 days of receiving an item via email to hello@darcesandals.com

If the shoes are not a suitable fit or are defective in any way (not including naturally occurring scars on our vegetable tanned leather sandals) you have up to 5 days from when we have received your exchange or refund request to ship back for an exchange or full refund. They must be returned unworn with no marks, signs of wear or damage to the sole or anywhere on the shoes with all original packaging otherwise we cannot complete a refund or exchange.

Please note, shipping fees are not refundable. Return postage for orders over $300 is complimentary, otherwise the cost will need to be covered by the customer. We recommend using a prepaid service that offers tracking as we are not responsible for any lost incoming parcels and cannot provide a refund if the package is lost.
