Gramercy slingback

Think mid-90s New York; a brownstone stoop, a yellow cab, Meg Ryan in any rom com. She got dressed in five minutes and somehow ended up the most stylish person in the room. Her wardrobe is clean and minimal and completely uncontrived, and she moves through the city with the kind of energy that is both grounded and infectious. The Gramercy is named for the Manhattan neighbourhood that has always had that same quality: a little quieter than the rest of the city, a little more sure of itself, the kind of place where the coffee is good and nobody is trying too hard. This sandal is for the woman who is effortless and energetic, the heroine of her own story with somewhere to be and every intention of enjoying the walk there.

Three wide straps cross the forefoot and the slingback wraps around the mid heel and stays there all day, every step, because a sandal that falls down is not a sandal worth wearing. The leather sole is cut into a pointed almond shape and hand dyed using traditional shoemaking techniques.

This style is made to order only. It will be made for you and takes 1 to 2 weeks to produce in our studio in Australia.

Material: Vegetable tanned kangaroo leather upper & bovine leather sole. The natural tanning process means the colour will become richer with age. Rubber heel grip for non slip.

Sizing & Fit: We use Italian European Sizing, which is the standard measurement for shoes. Our sandals fit true to size but if you prefer a bit of extra room, we suggest going up a size. The width is medium and the leather will stretch and mould to your foot over time, so don't panic if they feel snug at first. Please check the size guide for measurements.
