Hilda is named for my grandmother born in the 1920s. A woman who loved art, craft, and beautiful things, and who came of age when the Mary Jane was at its most iconic. In that era, the delicate cross-strap was more than a shoe; it was a quiet declaration of a woman who moved through the world with both grace and intention. This flat is her spirit made wearable: the sleek square toe and gold buckle strap carry the elegance of that golden decade, while the flat sole takes it effortlessly from morning to midnight. Like the best things passed down through generations, the Hilda only gets better with time.

In ballet pink, the Hilda is an ode to the strength of ballerinas — those women who make the extraordinary look effortless, who carry power and discipline in every movement while appearing to float. This is not a soft colour; it is a quietly fierce one. Wear it as they do: with total intention.

Hilda is our flat Mary Jane ballet style flat with a sleek square toe and delicate strap. We designed the Hilda to be easy to wear, elongate the leg and chic enough to dress up or down.

The Hilda moulds perfectly to the foot and features a delicate strap with small gold plated buckle. The strap is extra long to suit a variety of foot widths.

Made from sustainably sourced and tanned calf leather, the thin supple leather creates a glove like fit with no thermoplastic toe puff or heel counter to stiffen the leather and irritate the toes or heel.

Fit

For narrow - medium width take your normal size. For a wider foot, we suggest sizing up.
