Hilda is named for my grandmother born in the 1920s. A woman who loved art, craft, and beautiful things, and who came of age when the Mary Jane was at its most iconic. In that era, the delicate cross-strap was more than a shoe; it was a quiet declaration of a woman who moved through the world with both grace and intention. This flat is her spirit made wearable: the sleek square toe and gold buckle strap carry the elegance of that golden decade, while the flat sole takes it effortlessly from morning to midnight. Like the best things passed down through generations, the Hilda only gets better with time.

In metallic navy, the Hilda is inspired by the shimmering surface of the ocean — that deep, shifting blue that catches the light differently with every step. A sophisticated alternative to classic black, it carries the same versatility with an added depth and luminosity that makes it entirely its own.

The Hilda moulds perfectly to the foot and features a delicate strap with small gold plated buckle. The strap is extra long to suit a variety of foot widths.

Made from sustainably sourced and tanned calf leather, the thin supple leather creates a glove like fit with no thermoplastic toe puff or heel counter to stiffen the leather and irritate the toes or heel.

Fit

For narrow - medium width take your normal size. For a wider foot, we suggest sizing up.
