One of the main objectives with starting our brand was to demonstrate that it is possible to create a business that is ethical and sustainable in social and environmental terms. Our leather sandals, as you know, are hand made from vegetable tanned leather, upcycled where possible. Working with women in regional Queensland allows us to provide economic opportunities in a remote region. We have always wanted to ensure that our sandals came to you in a way that is economical and environmentally friendly. We know unboxing can be fun but do you know that a lot of this packaging is not recyclable? Is a few minutes of pleasure worth 100 years as landfill? We are now sending our sandals in handmade organic cotton pouches made in Cherbourg with upcycled leather lacing. Lightweight and soft, they keep your leather sandals protected at home or when you're on the go!
